The amber Alba sits at 1600K — roughly the colour of a candle, and far warmer than the 2700K bulbs most bedrooms run on. There is no blue component in the output at all. What you get is a low, honey-coloured light that makes a white wall read as parchment and leaves the rest of the room in shadow.
Three touch-set brightness levels, a body small enough to share a nightstand with a book and a glass, and a battery that lasts the week on ordinary evening use. Charging is USB-C, so it can live on a shelf and come down when it is wanted.
