Entry & Hallway
An entry is the shortest room in the house and the one people judge it by. It usually needs one good fixture and nothing else.
With a normal ceiling, a single small pendant works best: Monte in clear glass, or Onda at 15 cm if you want it to catch the light. In a stairwell, where the fixture is seen from below, from the side and from the landing, a small sphere on a long cord is the only shape that looks right from all three. Where the ceiling is low or the hall is narrow, go to the wall instead — Riva in smoke reads as an object rather than a light, and passes the shoulder without being noticed.
Outside the door, Tondo Square or Cala mounted either side turns an entrance into a threshold.
