Nuvo is a lamp with no cable, which means it is a lamp with no fixed address. It goes on the dining table for supper, out to the terrace afterwards, and ends the evening on a nightstand. Touch the top to move through three colour temperatures and to dim; a full charge covers a week of ordinary evening use.

It comes in four finishes: white, matte black, brass and brushed steel. White is the version that behaves like tableware — on a laid table it sits among the glasses without announcing itself, and against a pale wall outdoors it more or less vanishes, leaving only the pool of light it throws on the surface. The darker and metallic finishes let the same small dome hold its own on a sideboard or a restaurant table.
