Two globes, staggered, on a matte black stem. Over a kitchen island with black tapware and dark cabinet fronts, this is the version that ties the ceiling to the joinery instead of competing with it.
The offset heights are practical as well as graphic: the lower globe sits close enough to the counter to work by, the higher one lifts light back into the room so the island does not become a bright island in a dark space.
