Vesta sets a hand-carved drum of natural alabaster on a turned base of solid walnut. Switched off it is a piece of stone on a piece of wood; switched on, the alabaster warms to the colour of honey and the veining appears. A lamp for a sideboard, a bedside or a reading corner.
