Monte is small — about the size of a large orange — and clear glass makes it smaller still, because you see straight through it to the wall behind. Hung on its fine cord it is closer to a suspended point of light than to a light fitting.
Its best use is in threes or fives at staggered heights over a table, where a single large pendant would sit heavily. It is also the right answer in a stairwell, where a fixture has to be seen from below, from the side and from the landing above without ever looking wrong.
