Two globes on a white stem, set at different heights. In a pale kitchen or a white-plastered dining room this is close to the least intrusive way to get two points of light out of one ceiling outlet — the metalwork reads as ceiling, and only the glass is visible.

Worth choosing over the single head wherever the surface below is longer than about a metre and a half, where one globe would leave the far end in shadow.
